Celebrate with us by honouring South Africa's leading women who have achieved excellence in business and public service at our 4th Annual Top Women Awards 2007!
Since its inception, the Top Women Awards have identified and honoured gender empowerment in organisations and the achievements of individual women in business and government. The objectives for the Top Women Awards are simple – to honour demonstrated commitment and achievement, thus encouraging the highest standards of excellence in business.

The Top Women Awards culminates in a glamorous event where the country’s business leaders, social magnates, celebrities, government ministers and media personalities converge to network, celebrate, congratulate and applaud the efforts that have brought women to where they are today.
Our Gala Awards night will take place at the gorgeous Castle Kyalami in Johannesburg on 16 August 2007!

Gender Empowerment at UNISA SBL
"The Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership (SBL) is committed to the empowerment of women as leaders in the corporate environment and as such, the enrolment of a representative group of female students forms an integral part of the SBL’s enrolment process.
The evolving business environment has meant that many traditional obstacles that women have in the past been confronted with are slowly being eroded, presenting new opportunities for women. However, to be successful in this new domain, it is necessary to enhance and acquire targeted leadership and management skills such as those offered at the SBL.
Our degree programmes allow students to maximise on their leadership and management potential and hone the skills required to be savvy, strategic thinking business leaders.
We encourage more women to take up our degree and certificate programmes so as to facilitate their professional and personal growth goals, and ultimately become mentors that will help grow the South African economy."
