The company offers air VIP charter, air cargo charter, tourist transfers or charter, game count and capture, fire-fighting, heli-camping, medical evacuation, aerial photography, film work, slinging or airlifting, powerline inspection and maintenance, and general air security services.

Sibongile Rejoyce Sambo

Sibongile Rejoyce Sambo: Managing Director
Sibongile Rejoyce Sambo is the owner and managing director of SRS Aviation and is the first black woman to own an aviation company in South Africa. She holds a BAdmin from UniZul, a BAdmin (Hons) from UNISA, a certificate in marketing management from the Institute of Marketing Management , a certificate in organisational development (also from UNISA) and underwent an executive preparation programme in mining at Wits. Sambo originally started her business as a general business courier services company before embarking on large scale aviationrelated operations. She is a member of the Black Management Forum (BMF), the Enterprise Development Forum, FABCOS (CHAMSA) and Fly South. Through her business, Sambo has been able to generate job opportunities for several previously historically disadvantaged persons who have, to date, been trained at various levels of flight training and commandeering. Some of her previous employment entails being manager in charge of e-HR change management at DeBeers Consolidated Mines SA. Prior to this appointment Sambo was employed at City Power as manager in charge of recruitment and was also the previous general manager of human resources at NSA Security Services. Passionate about excellence and success, Sambo’s ambitions are to become a respected, successful business woman and community leader.
